Solved Randomly dies! HELP ME!!!

All my players, included creative players, and ME, just dies randomly like we used the /suicide command or get struck by lightning!

And me and my mod just died and we got struck by lightning, and that happens several times!
IT'S REALLY ANNOYING, and I don't know what the heck to do!!

It happend after I installed NoCheatPlus! It is NCP that causes the problem??

Please I need help ASAP!

Make sure you installed NCP from BUKKIT And not any other source

Cause NCP is mostly used for hacking server

 

what is the death reason? also, yep, make sure NCP is from dev.bukkit

I downloaded it from here like normal!

It says "*player* got killed by a magic force", "*player* got slain by Herobrine" and randomly stuff like that, because I have Kivi (Custom Death Messages) plugin!

I have NO IDEA what it's normally, but it's under the "death" category.
Like, it's the message when you get struck by lightning I guess. (It's also when you use /suicide)

Edit: I'll try to uninstall Kivi, then see what the message is.

 

then disable kivi and get the original message.

 

I disabled Kivi, then did /suicide and struck myself with lightning, and they both only said "PapiDimmi died"

 

wait for random death, if it still happens with redownloading plugins.

What message did it give you?

Not sure about NoCheatPlus, but have you checked to see if it will kill you upon detecting certain "hacks". Have you tried to remove it and see if the "random" deaths reoccur?

Follow the rest of my advice then.

 

It's really annoying!

My players said "Why do you keep killing me?!", "What is the point with that, Papi?" and stuff...

Nope, I removed NoCheatPlus, and I was just staying there, AFK, on my server, waiting for something to happen, and then BOOM, randomly get struck by lightning and DIES, even if I'm OP and creative!

Are you sure someone else with the permissions isn't just using /kill...?

Excuse me, I'm going very off-topic, but do you have any experience with a Bukkit server at all?

You have posted numerous of topics today about issues like: Spleef, Anticheat, this,... . At least wait about half a day until you bump. It's not like you need a special treatment.

And how do you post a topic about NoCheatPlus, and one about anticheat. You can't have both.

Of course, I don't have both, but I tried both, and none worked correctly.

 

Papi, you mind posting a list of your plugins?
I personally only use mainstream stuff to avoid issues like this, but maybe there's one that's known for being bad, and it may help if you narrow the list down.

 

Since you have Essentials, you can get rid of: BackOnDeath and Fly.
Also, since you have Multiverse-Inventories there's no need for OpenInv

That might fix some issues.

 

1. Multiverse-Inventories is NOT the same as OpenInv
2. I could get rid of OpenInv because Essentials have /invsee, but I need OpenInv's silentchest..
3. I COULD get rid of OpenInv, and remove SimpleVanish and install VanishNoPacket, but I like the simple vanishplugin instead of the big Vanish plugin with so many dumb features and effects
4. I'll try to remove BackOnDeath then
