query-plugins Bukkit.yml Option

Does the query-plugins Bukkit.yml option work? If so how?

It's listed on the BukkitWiki, but I tried enabling it for kicks, but couldn't seem to get my server to return plugin information. Additionally it doesn't seem to be a generated option in the default bukkit.yml.

 

I run http://serverchunk.com and (if the user allows it of course) it can query your plugins.

Every server that has it enabled on my website has been able to have its plugin list retrieved perfectly fine. So I know for a fact the plugin list works. Quite the opposite of your problem here: I don't know if that option can actually stop it.

 

It wont stop it yet as you need the dev version of Craftbukkit. This is the first version of it but there are others after this one.

Yes Yes I am but for some reason I think Votifier is still not working.

 

Why not have a "plugin stats" page?

Post usage stats - how many servers use what plugins ;P

 

lol Votifier still doesn't work with your server list....no matter what and how I set things votes don't show up on my server like others do with Votifier.

The main reason it's not working is the votifier key gets messed up. I paste mine in directly from the key file, save my profile, go back in and it looks like this.............

The query-plugins option is there in case you have the "enable-query=" option set to true, but you do not want to have your plugin list available.

This is to stop those server list sites from querying your plugins. DrAgonmoray can test against my server on the list, its set this way.
