Hey, i am running a server, but everything broke, so i reinstalled the server after saving the world and plugins and now, i cant use anything or place any blocks anywhere. I have changed the bukkit.yml file so the spawn protection to 0... what should i do? Come on guys i need help before this thread gets abandoned! Answer Me. If you're using permissions, make sure that the worldname is set correctly and that you have the correct permissions.
I recently just started having the exact same problem since yesterday. Once in game, on an old map where I used to be able to build (at the spawn point), I suddenly cannot break or place blocks unless i use the console to OP myself/others. No settings have been changed for the past week. I have tried starting another server & world from scratch, with no plugins at all and still can not do anything unless I am OP or I move far enough away from the spawn point. Even then eventually in different parts of the map I can't build/break. This is causing quite some frustration for me and my friends. Previously, with no plugins, I was allowed to start a fresh map & server and build right where I spawned. Eventually I would like to get a server running with Spout, mcMMO, mChat, iConomy, PlayerEditor, Residence, Shortcuts, & VirtualChest. (I did have it running the early yesterday, then all the sudden it stopped working as it previously did and had issues with building/breaking) Any help would be greatly appreciated, before I go insane and start playing with Lego's IRL instead.
I Cant build anywhere on my map, Cant build anywhere on another map, whether im OP or not. THIS IS SO ANNOYING! I might remove all of my plugins, then put them back until i find the cause of the problem.
