Problem With Server, Please Help.

Recently I have started playing Minecraft again and created another server looking to play with some friends, I have ran into many issues along the way. I am pretty sure that I port forwarded correctly and its not working. I have tried all kinds of things and its still not working. Ok, here is the problem, I can join via localhost or my IPv4 address, but when I type in my IP address into Minecraft it says, "Can't reach server." When I asked my friend to try to join he told me that it is showing that there are 0/20 people in the game and it has all green bars, but when he tried to join the server it said, "Connection lost. Failed to login. Bad login."

We have a Comcast router, and I have Avast Free Antivirus.

 

Sounds like an issue with Minecraft.net, not your server. Did they try connecting any other times, or to any other servers? Did you try connecting to the server on a different computer within your network?

 

Ill have them try to connect to another server, and ill try to connect to my server on another computer on my network.
