Problem/Bug Port closed even though portforward

    I tried to port forward the Minecraft port (25565) and my friends tried to join the server it didn't work. I checked the ports and it said it was closed. I tried checking other ports as well and they dont work either. If someone could help this would be greatly appreciated

    @Eternal_Reign Did your forward the firewall AND the router?
    Did you give them your external IP?

    Yes i did forward the firewall
    . What do you mean by the "External IP"

    @Eternal_Reign The one that you see with ipchicken, not your local IP that you can see with CMD

    At first i used my IPv4 address for the port forwarding so I switched to the external IP to try it out it still didnt work.
    Here is an image of what the port forward area looks like just if you want to look over it and see if there are any errors

    In the local ip put your ip from cmd. And give your friends the external ip

    Hmm. Have you given the java firewall pass privileges?
