Play records to every player

Suggested name: EliteMusic

What I want: I would like records to be played to the player when they join the server. I would just use command blocks, but they have a limit on how far the sound goes. I want the sound to be heard all over the world.

What record would you like to be played? (I might make this, I don't know if I have the time though) EDIT: I can't make it, sorry dude. I'm really busy with server work today :/

This doesn't sound very doable or useful.

Making the sound move with players would be quite difficult or impossible from my past experience.

Also, I think it would overlap the default Minecraft music and could get extremely annoying as you haven't specified any commands to turn it off.
