Problem/Bug Pex not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my permissions ex file (permissions.yml) will not work and pex will not enable. PLEASE HELP!

There were some spacing issues for inheritance and prefix, compare this new file to your old one.

That was not included in your original post. Do the following:

Stop your server.
Start your server.
When it's fully started, stop it again.
Go in to your server files.
Go to the logs folder.
Open the file called latest.log.
Copy and paste the contents at http://pastebin.com/.
Post it there and then link the URL here.

There may be a space after essentials.afk which may be causing the issue. In you log it says in 'string', line 12, column 43:

Okay, what I want you to do is:

Get your log:
Stop your server.
Start your server.
When it's fully started, stop it again.
Go in to your server files.
Go to the logs folder.
Open the file called latest.log.
Copy and paste the contents at http://pastebin.com/.

Also Pastebin your permissions.yml and config.yml again.

Make sure that you don't make any changes to the files while posting them on Pastebin so that I can find the problem easier.

I also would like you to format your post like the following:

Err... Are you still having problems? The log doesn't show any errors for PermissionsEx, and both your permissions.yml and config.yml are fine.

For iControlU, replace the plugin jar that you have on your server right now with this one:

Your PEx prefixes aren't working because you don't have a chat manager. You can get a plugin like EssentialsChat or ChatEx to fix that. Here's a link to direct download EssentialsChat for 1.8+:
