PermissionsEx Won't Work

I decided it would be cool to try out a private Bukkit server and add permissions to try them out. When I set up the groups and assigned one to myself, it didn't work. I was given a "[world]" prefix when I joined the server and I could only use commands that were enabled by default. I would appreciate any sort of help.

Solved. Just needed to delete prefixes and add them through the command line.
