NMS and Packet Sending

    So I've been trying to figure out how to change a players name-tag above their head.

    I've looked at many threads from a rather long time ago and I cannot seem to find a currently working method of doing this, if anyone has a method they are willing to share I'd be grateful.

    @Kassestral Packets, I don't work with the ones that are entity related though.
    Same for NMS and reflection, just things that shouldn't be done with it.

    Did you know you can decompile APIS so you can see how they work? Just download the API, decompile it and see what it uses to make the nameplates.

    TagAPI doesn't work in 1.8 now though, it says that on its own page.

    @Scimiguy There are replacements for it, but that's out of scope I guess

    @Kassestral As far as I know you need to send a packet "destroying" the player entity and then "spawn it" again (with some delay IIRC) and the same entity id, just with different name and stuff
