Need help with setting spawns

I have a server with a spawn world, a main world, and a Skyblock world. I'd like new players to spawn in the spawn world, but after that whenever they die they respawn in the world that they died in. However, it seems that both spawns have defaulted to the Skyblock world... any way to fix this? I've been using Essentials to set spawns (I think, it's been a while). Any help would be appreciated.
