MySQL and Insert Delayed Into...

    Hey guys.
    I've been doing some research for a custom server / stats system I'm working on, and I've found "INSERT DELAYED INTO ... ON DUPLICATE KEY SET ..." seems to be the best query to eliminate the need for numerous queries. Does anyone have any other suggestions, or would this be correct?

    [not a sql optimization type of guy - just java & php :D]
