Solved Multiverse Worlds

Hello there,
I have tried so hard to reduce the lag on my server by installing lag reducing plugins etc. I came to the conclusion that it must be the worlds that I have, I have so many useless ones so I tried removing them.
First I stopped the server and deleted the worlds then I went into the worlds.yml for multiverse and removed the block of code for that world and I was thinking about how well this was going, I start up my server and they just regenerate! Can some people give me some ideas of what to do, It would be nice for this to be fixed before/on 3PM GMT because my server comes out of Maintenance Mode then and I don't want to disappoint anyone!

Have you used the /mvdelete command to remove them? I tried removing them via the config and it didn't work. If you wanted to delete world "Test" you would do /mvdelete Test
If that doesn't work, can I see your config via Pastebin?

 

@TheMinecraftKnight Tried the /mv delete {worldname} command and it works but after a restart it just has a paddy and decides to remake the world I removed.

What world are you trying to delete?

@timtower I removed them manualy

 

First, download a copy of your worlds.yml.

Try stopping your server, then removing your worlds.yml from the server completely.
Delete the worlds that you don't want anymore.
Start your server and see if the worlds regenerate again.

If they don't regen:
Make necessary changes to the new worlds.yml file.

If they do regen:
Post plugin list and latest.log.

 

@oceantheskatr THANKS SOOOOO MUCH! It worked brilliantly! I had a clear out of plugins to reduce lag and it helped alot but this should help even more.
