Plugin Help Multi-Verse Spawn Problems

Earlier today I installed MultiVerse-Core, and later removed it do to a problem. If I died, I spawned somewhere in the middle of nowhere in the end where I couldn't see the island at all. Switching over to vanilla fixes it, but is there any way to fix this problem? Even without Multiverse installed, I still spawn in the end.

EDIT: I can now spawn near the island, creating a new server did not fix it, resetting the world did not fix it, this is obviously an issue in Bukkit 1.8.
