Hello, I recently upgraded the PC i was using as a server so i can use it to play games and all that fun stuff. My problem is the new computer i have to run the server on (not actually new, more like recycled) has a pretty decent CPU, but only 1 GB of RAM. I allocated some space from the disk and from a USB drive as Virtual memory, but my CB server will only use my Physical memory, is there any way to change this? System Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate (x86) 32 bit Java 7 update 45 1 GB DDR3 Memory 75 GB HDD 4 GB USB Intel Atom CPU 1.60 GHz (Dual Core) Thank You!
Well sorry man, but looks like you might have to find some more memory for your machine at some online store. It's usually not to hard to take apart a computer and insert new ram. Maybe talk with a computer specialist for any suggestions before buying new ram.
I am a computer specialist, i don't want to buy more ram because there is only 1 DDR3 slot, so for 1 4GB RAM card it would cost about $100, I am just going to cut down on plugins and such to be more efficient.
Where you're getting the $100 for 1 4GB RAM is ridiculous. You can get a single RAM stick of 4GB in the $50 range, not the $100.
