   How can I get more monsters spawning? I have difficulty at 3 but the layer of monsters are too thin. How can I, or what plugins should I use, to make more monsters spawn and spawn more centered around the player?

   Use difficulty 2, in 3, there are less, but more powerful mobs

   Also you could reduce lighting to encourage monsters spawning
