Hey guys, I learned three things today - There will be no natural mob spawn control - There will be no mob spawnrate control - Nobody has made a plugin for either of these yet So if someone could possibly make a plugin that can naturally spawn other types of mobs (such as ghasts, zombie pigmen, or slimes) and control mob spawnrate (how often a mob spawns) like in Hey0, that would be awesome. Thanks, - Monkah
Sorry if I wasn't clear before. Remember in Hey0, in Server.Properties, you could set what mobs spawned and what mobs didn't? Or how you could control how often mobs spawned? Thats not going to be in Bukkit, so I'm asking for a plugin for it.
Yea, I have posted about this previously as well and got no feed back about it. I really want to see a plugin that supported some of the mob spawn control that Hey0 had. I guess we can just keep posting till someone does it
if you make that also to be toggled via chat it would be cool. that would help a bit with our server where we don't always want mobs on..
Currently under development I think http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/mech-crowdcontrol-0-11-337.4073/#post-63201
Thats not automatic though, you have to say: /crowdcontrol Creeper Ghast for every time you want to have them, PLUS, you have to switch mobs out. --- merged: Mar 2, 2011 3:49 AM --- Bump --- merged: Mar 2, 2011 8:56 PM --- Lump
This is about as close as I can think of for your application. http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/me...-entidex-control-mob-spawn-1-0-2-cb-527.7773/ Of course you'll need to set a 'global' spawn level for each animal to retain default values global wide...then set precisely how many more you'd want in particular area's.
I'm pretty sure it's broken. nether creatures can't be spawned yet as far as I know. But it controls where and how much. Its not really exlusionary so much as it is a "focus" of spawn and in what density. Which...can make things very scary in terms of density. Try it out with 100%. Its unpassable in some area's.
MyWorlds plugin can control WHAT mobs spawn, but not where, when, why or how many. oh - and @Mukrakiish ghasts can be spawned with the plugin "MobSpawner" /spawnmob [mobname] <amount> EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
My plugin AntiMob can let you choose which mobs spawns in the config. (has all mobs) I will be able to add the commands to change soon
