Can you add a file which is the default settings for vanilla minecraft? We simply want to disable slimes since they are a bit buggy in SMP and don't want to change anything else. We noticed that creepers have been set to burn and we don't know what else might be changed. Thanks man, this looks really cool.

 

Is there a way to set the overall spawn limit? Too many mobs are spawning on my server and I'm trying to find a solution. Mobs = High CPU D:

Tried version 1.8.02: Loaded up fine with no players on the server, but as soon as I joined I got another NPE error that froze the server.

This is with plugins.

Without any plugins, it loads up fine but gives me the "Could not pass ENTITY_TARGET" that unusualbob posted - which seems to make the plugin not read your settings in the .config because Creepers, which are set to burn in daylight by default, were not burning.

Still going through my list.

 

Why is there no updates for this plugin ?

 

I too vote for MAX mob per world settings such as seperated max mob for Monsters and Animals

since its monsters that usually cause the excess cpu crap since MC servers ar still not bloody multicore honestly everything is mulitcore standard and mainstream now days why hell notch said u know what NOOOOO has me completely stumped.

Anyway, I went and reloaded all my plugins one by one and the server loaded fine. So, figured maybe it was my second world - sure enough, still a multiworld error. When I warped into my second world (via Multiverse plugin), I got the error I posted previously and the server froze.

Config file: The values for where a mob can spawn upon is way too immense. Maybe a "default" setting or the sort for this value (as I'd like it to be default values anyways), or an exclusion list (for monsters) and inclusion list (for animals)...
Also, coming into contact with mobs capable of attacking, even on neutral, can still hurt you if you encounter contact with one.

 

I was sort of thinking that if u ram against an animal that is dangerous you should always take damage. But if you think it should be like default mc rules than i'll change it.

 

Possible to have a toggle in the config for this?

I'd prefer it always taking damage in one of my worlds. I'm sure everyone has preferences, so if it isn't to hard to make it a simple config file switch, I think that'd make everyone happy!

 

Sounds very possible! I'm still tracking down the latest bug though. It should be in content release version 1.9.

I still cannot make the plugin work, I have tried all week. Everytime I turn it on, I fell through a blockless world. I see the sun, the sky, and that is it. and I am falling down (the Y value goes in the minus thousand in about 1 minute)

I use Essentials, Minecart Mania, and Multiverse. I am really interested in making the plugin work, I even renamed it to Zobcontrol (but in the console, it still loads before Multiverse as MobControl).

I am at a loss here, not sure what to do.

 

Dude U need to really read before u post same thing 6 posts above you have. I'm sorry I'm not one to troll but honestly its a known issue right now just some 5min of skimming the page would tell u this.

 

Oh I have read the other posts, I am aware and I am not the only one with the issue. I also read earlier that I could try renaming it so it starts after multiverse.

I am just stating what my plugins are, since it seems to work for most people (all week I read about features being added, and other users seems to have no problem with the new features).

The line of code appears to be this:
if (!cInfo.isEnabled()) {
cInfo comes from just above:
CreatureInfo cInfo = creaturesHandler.get(w).get(getCreatureType(e));
w is looping over every world on the server, and e is looping over every entity in that world.

So for some reason it appears that in the Creatures map between CreatureType:CreatureInfo, that particular entry is null or missing.

Is it possible this plugin code is running before it has had time to load its settings?

 

This is so frustrating, no matter what i do this plugin wont work. (well, i had it working for about ten seconds where pigs attacked after being provoked, but ever since it has not worked i dont have any other info srry.

 

Possible we'll see an update tonight? This weekend?

Not trying to bug you, just looking for a status report on where the plugin stands currently - take your time by all means! I'm just eager.
