    This plugin will replant trees when they are cut down (or burnt down), and will keep it the same tree type. Also has a custom leaf decay planter and tree removal.

    • Replants trees when the bottom log is cut down, or burnt down.
    • Break a birch tree? Replants a birch sapling. Same for all type of trees
    • '/TreeAssist Toggle' - lets a player turn TreeAssist features on or off.
    • '/TreeAssist Global' - Toggles TreeAssist for everyone
    • '/TreeAssist Reload' - Reload the plugin's config file
    • treeassist.autoremove - Should the player be allowed to break the bottom block and the whole tree comes down?
    • treeassist.replant - When the player chops down a tree, should a sapling replant itself?
    • treeassist.toggle - Gives player access to the '/TreeAssist Toggle' command to turn TreeAssist on or off
    • - Gives player access to the '/TreeAssist global' command to turn TreeAssist on or off for everyone
    • treeassist.reload - access to '/treeassist reload'

    Very nice plugin... all that I was looking for and more!

    Some bugs I noticed... in 3.8 when I set custom leaf decay rate, my birch trees drop apples and regular saplings, not birch saplings. The auto-replant is birch, but the dropped saplings are regular. When I put it back to 100, it drops birch saplings and no apples again and continues planting birch.

    I also had one instance out of about 500 trees where the replanted sapling looked regular but grew into birch.

    Yeah, block.breakNaturally() was bugged, so it doesn't do all its drops/breaks correctly. It'll be fixed in the 3.9 version this weekend.

    Version 3.9!
    • Fix for the thread error when replanting trees.
    • Moving back to .breakNaturally(), to hopefully fix some item drop issues on leaf decay.
    It's mainly just a test build, but it should fix the issues people have been having with the illegal thread access. Also I am using .breakNaturally() on blocks so make sure you have 1.2.3 builds or the latest 1.2.4 builds!

    Hello, im using 3.9 all working good, but no droppings at all. I hope its minor issue.

    Can you make it so saplings automaticly disappear if they don't grow for a certain amout of time? Because with this plugin, I'll see a tree with a bunch of saplings around it, and they can't grow because of the tree.

    i was wondering is there anyway to turn off the auto replant with this for my server? i like the fact that it cuts down the tree at once i just need it to not replant.

    In the Config file, under 'Main' at the top, turn 'Sapling Replant: true' into 'Sapling Replant: false' :D

    I have the problem with using bukkit 1.2.4 When i cut a tree he drops me a lot of cind of trees and much more than regular. Any help???

    I assume you have a faster leaf decay setting? Theres an issue with block.breakNaturally() and leaves where they drop the wrong kind. If its not fixed in 1.2.4-R1.0 (haven't tested yet) then I will add a fix for this in the next update.

    i tested it and is was realy good but i took down one and it dropt wood and then i took another tree but it didin,t get me wood i tried again and it didin,t give me the wood i looked in the config nothing and i tried to reload the server nope :(

    this plugin is epic. i will no longer have trees without bases that have been partialy chopped on my server!

    I really don't know, sorry. It might be another plugin conflict.
    The anger from people doing this on my server led to the plugin's creation.

    i think it makes the game more realistic. then you cut down a tree irl, the whole thing falls down.

    I do need to ask, we are currently running this plugin but anytime a tree is felted it kicked the person and gives a server error, disconnected by server internal server error.

    Hey, I found a serious conflict with your plugin and the residence plugin, which I think should be adressed.

    As you might know, Residence allows players to create a protected zone, in which other players can not destroy blocks, build blocks, use items, etc.. In other words, players can make their own builds 100% griefer protected.

    However, I am also using your plugin on my server, which is awesome, quick wood + replant.. The problem is, that the ''auto destroy tree'' setting from your plugin, conflicts very hard with residence, in a way that if a house is made out of wood (not planks, but pure wood), and other players can still destroy the bottem blocks of the wood, and it will cause ENORMOUS parts of houses to just blow up and disappear; since the game thinks it's a tree i guess.

    It would be REALLY awesome to get a fix for this, since I want to use your lovely plugin; However if the safety of the builds gets jeopardized, it is not worth it for me.

    Please let me know if a fix is coming soon!

    I'm having issues with Residence/Towny/Factions plugins. For some reason TreeAssist isn't properly canceling the event - although it should be working correctly, and it works fine with WorldGuard, so I'm getting quite frustrated.

    Also If I could see some screens of said houses so I could figure out why code isn't stopping itself when it's a house.

    Thanks, I realized I was only checking for walls of logs. Derpy derp. I'll figure out how to get Factions/Towny/Residence working one way or another soon! Since 1.2.5 just came out I'll build against that to make sure it's all good.
