RapidBuilder is a plugin that allows you to select an area and fill it.

Usage:

• Select 1 block with right click and one block with left click
• Hold the item in your hand that you want to fill the area with
• type /rfill or /rf

Features:

• If you are an OP, it does not decrease the ammount of item in your inventory
• If you are not OP, it takes the items from your inventory, until you run out
• If you are holding air, it deletes the selected blocks

when i use this plugin it looks like i can't select any block because when i do select them with my right and left mouse buttons, and then type /rf it says please select two blocks. Does anyone know what i am doing wrong?

I would love to download this but I need a permission node and I need to make sure it wont work through protections like towny and worldguard. Other than that great mod!

i did i selected them with an coal and then took wool in my hand and typed /rf but it still says please select two blocks.

 

is it possible to fill a wall with red wool because when i do that, it uses white wool instead, i gues this has something to do with the damage value of red wool. If it is not possible right now maybe you can add it in a later update

 

Does this use worldedit? I select one block with right click, then one block with left click... hold woodplanks... "/rfill"
and it says... Please select 2 blocks?!?!?!!!??!?!? What is wrong? does it have any issues with other plugins!?!?!?!?!?

 

This seems like an awesome plugin but I don't see how different it is from WorldEdit... WorldEdit has a lot more features and does essentially the same thing...

I would use your plugin for the sake of simplicity (less WorldEdit configs to worry about) except your plugin is missing KEY features. This plugin is really not viable for any real server (unless it's whitelisted).

Key features I think would get people to heavily use RapidBuild
- PermissionsNodes... Like duh?
(rb.use.*) would be AWESOME. Where * denotes item id
Maybe rb.admin to not use blocks from inventory.
- Blacklist : Without this, I jus don't see how any server can publicly run this plugin... So what happens when some douchebag earns buildrights and decides to crash the server with torches... Of course, using the permission node scheme I suggested removes the need for a blacklist...

In a nutshell: with a little more dev, this could be the best single plugin for my donators so far...

I love this plugin so far but I have one question. Do you plan to add undo option?

 

Describing what wrong the problem i had earlier was that the file was corrupted and i need to download and install it again. Then it worked, but is it possible to use red wool?

 

Is the mod supposed to double-stack or is this a bug?

Do you think it would be cool that if you filled with air, it broke the blocks so you could pick them up (with permissions of course)

I would love to see that plugin in 1.8.1 version!!
I used it in 1.7.3 and it was epic!

 

I usually wait for a recommended build, but I can start work on 1.8 soon anyways.

 

Again great plugin but would like to request an undo command. Not sure if that is even possible, not sure about rollback feature complexity but if you can do it that will make this plugin even that much more of an essential!! Thanks again

 

Love this plugin! Just wish it had permission support so I could allow normal players to use it. (doesn't seem to work for them but works great for me! (op)

 

I love this plugin and i made an account just to tell you that your download link isn't working and i would appreciate it very much if you could please get it to work because i've been looking forward to blow a giant trench in my server like i did before.

 

Great work on the plugin again. One of my favorites. Unfortunately I've had to stop using it on my server.
Reason being that it can be used to grief other players factions land using the Factions plugin.

Is there any way you can incorporate a check of faction land before placing/replace blocks?
