    Features

MadeToBreak replicates the idea of planned obsolescence for different appliances in Minecraft.

Planned obsolescence is the factor that causes an appliance to have limited usefulness and become broken after a period of time, so that the player is forced to constantly craft new appliances. This makes the player find and use more resources from the Minecraft world to create appliances unlike vanilla Minecraft, where all appliances are bound to be forever functional. With this plugin, it encourages players to keep in mind that for whatever appliance they use, they must create it again once it becomes broken.

This plugin has a configurable limit on how many times you can right-click and open the following appliances in Minecraft:
    • Crafting Table
    • Furnace
    • Enchantment Table
    • Brewing Stand
    • Dispenser
Once that amount of uses are exhausted, the appliance becomes broken and can be set to do the following:
    • Explode with or without environmental damage
    • Disappear
    • Display a message to the user on right click (if not set to explode or disappear after its final use)
    Commands used:

MadeToBreak uses the following base commands: mb, mtb, or madetobreak
Use /mb infinite to enable infinite usage placement of any appliance (i.e. any appliance that you place can be used forever, by any player).

    Permissions used:

    madetobreak.exempt.craftingtable
    madetobreak.exempt.furnace
    madetobreak.exempt.enchantmenttable
    madetobreak.exempt.brewingstand
    madetobreak.exempt.dispenser
madetobreak.exempt.* - Allows the player to not deplete the amount of uses of any appliance. You may also use appliance-specific permissions listed above.
madetobreak.placeinfinite - Allows you to use /mb infinite

Permissions will default to op if SuperPerms is not detected.

    Installation
Download the latest version of MadeToBreak-(version).jar and place it in your plugins folder! Make sure you are also using the correct CraftBukkit build that corresponds to the plugin also!

    Planned Features
    • Visual FX and Sound FX (e.g. smoke when right clicking a furnace that is broken)
    • Additionally, fixing bugs and adding extra features you want!
