    ItemCraft is a Bukkit mod that allows adding new item and block types, crafting and furnace recipes, and custom tree generators and more. Using a Modloader and SettingsGUI interface it allows subplugins known as ICPlugins to be loaded to support client mods. ICPlugins can be created by translating a client mod using the ICTranslator ICplugin. Using a ModloaderMP interface (ported by krnlyng/liar) it allows porting multiplayer mods to bukkit.

    Installation & Usage:
    • Back up your world(s). Just in case.
    • ItemCraft.jar goes in same folder as craftbukkit
    • IC plugins go into ItemCraft/ICPlugins folder under craftbukkit. (folder is autocreated the first time)
    • uncomment (remove #) in front of all plugins you want to use in plugins.ics (autocreated in ItemCraft/ICScript)
    • Make sure you have the recommended version of craftbukkit in the title - since this is a mod of that version in particular.
    • Delete/rename the META-INF folder inside craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar (Use some decent zip program (e.g. 7zip) that can do it.)
    • All players on the server needs to have the client mods installed
    • If you use the 16 bit entity id packet mod (in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it)), All players need (flan's unofficial) ModLoaderMP client mod
    • All players also need the 16 bit entity id packet mod (overwrites a ModLoaderMP's class so make sure ModLoaderMP is installed first) in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it) If decide not to use the packet mod, you can turn it off putting this in your startup file: false setEntityIDPacketMod
    • Sometimes you get block/item ID conflicts, between plugins. You then need to set the conflicting ids in the startup script using setID command: example. They have to be set before the plugin that uses them is loaded. Note also that there is typically a props file on the clientside you have to edit the ids on to be the same as well.

      Suggestions of mods to port
      Vote here not in this thread anymore (it gets lost in all the other stuff)

      Reporting errors:
      • Read known issues - don't report those.
      • State the version of CB, ItemCraft and ICPlugin(s) you have problems with
      • If your client crashes, start the client from command line so that you get the error report.
      • Make sure the mod(s) works in SSP First before you report any errors here.
      • You are more likely to get a response if you describe the problem in more detail and do some testing yourself first of under what circumstances it occurs
      • Do not ask for uploads of minecraft.jar.
      • Do not pm me.
      • If you have problems installing, you are likely doing something wrong. Make sure you've followed the instructions exactly, read the FAQ and Wiki. If that doesn't work you can always ask in the thread, while I will likely not reply, there are others who can help you with your problem. But at least try to get it working yourself first.

    This bug can be duplicated in SSP, meaning it's FancyPack's issue, not ItemCraft. I already made a post on BB's thread on it this morning.

    Ok i nearly finished porting Kaevators Hedges and Shears.
    Only a few Erros remian in one file.
    Ill add a Screenshot. Maybe someone can give me a Tipp. Im so close. argh :p


    I tried looking up chunkmanager and grphicslevel. But didnt find anything thta removes the Error. I dont think that you have to uncomment this passage.

    Are you really going to port microblock on itemcraft? If you succeed you will be my god!!!

    And another question is it possible to change item and block id on the client side? I know how to do that on server side. I want to do that because mods have too low id and block disapear on each patch because there aure conflict with the new item and block added by notch. For exemple, all chains have became shrubs.

    S_unc/Pield - no corresponding mcp name i.e. user defined.
    U_unc/T_unc - has corresponding mcp name i.e. its an override/implementation of a vanilla method, but probably has no server equivalent.
    Q_ield/R_ield - has corresponding mcp name - Should not really occur. Notify me if they occur.

    If you find a method that is guaranteed not to be on the server side, notify me and I'll change the name to deleteme.

    Edit: Also could someone make a list of ported mods?

    The first line gives an error cause MapColor can't be resolved. The Q_ield_28212_b can nowhere be found in all the java files, i checked the maps and its not in there either. I would have expected a Pield* value there ?

    Line 8 wants an expression for "ItemMicrocube".

    Lines 9 and 10 expect an expression as well for the TileEntity* entries.

    Any help?

    Potioncraft, posted HERE crashes my server.
    Miners Helmet, posted HERE works perfect.

    If there are any others completed, I've not seen them posted on this thread.

    Damn all Errors gone but Plugin wont start.
    I dont even know where to start looking whats wrong this Time, cause all Errors are gone.
    Maybe its better when i quit completly. After Hours and Hours of trying i have zero Results.
    I feel so frustrated right now. :/

    Thanks. I suppose this might happen when a field is hidden by another. There may be instances that this is actually useful but it could also be a mistake. If something doesn't work involving the field, commenting out the field might solve the issue.

    i changed these two settings to an ID which are just 2 numbers higher (because of 211/212 is in use of the potion mod) than they were..
    "BlockKaevObsidianIntCorners" 213 setID
    "BlockKaevDiamondIntCorners" 214 setID

    and this way it works fine for me ;)
    (the sense of this mod is another case:p)

    Where is the startup.txt file? I have modded server and client but I can't use new item, I've always this error if I try to drop a new item and if I use it I was disconnected:

    ICBeer.jar Well I got it compiled and the server loaded, not sure about the functionality of the mod as the minecraft forums are down for maintenance atm. So if someone wants to test it, that'd be awesome and alert me of any bugs, would be much appreciated :D

  29. Well, you are correct, in the sense that the server starts OK (Great), however, the crafting recipe for the water bottle is exactly the same as for Kslopes Glass slanted corner. When I try crafting the water bottle, it appears for an instant and then becomes the kslope glass corner.
    What I did try is disabling Kslopes and crafting myself a few bottles - worked fine. Then, I restarted the server with Kslopes re-enabled and found I still had the bottles in my inventory, so I tried creating a potion, and that worked to, so, the only way to use this currently (unless you know another way), is to disable Kslopes, make a supply of bottles, then re-enable Kslopes. Other than that, I find the two are not able to be used together ? Any way of changing the recipe for crafting a water bottle ?
