    ItemCraft is a Bukkit mod that allows adding new item and block types, crafting and furnace recipes, and custom tree generators and more. Using a Modloader and SettingsGUI interface it allows subplugins known as ICPlugins to be loaded to support client mods. ICPlugins can be created by translating a client mod using the ICTranslator ICplugin. Using a ModloaderMP interface (ported by krnlyng/liar) it allows porting multiplayer mods to bukkit.

    Installation & Usage:
    • Back up your world(s). Just in case.
    • ItemCraft.jar goes in same folder as craftbukkit
    • IC plugins go into ItemCraft/ICPlugins folder under craftbukkit. (folder is autocreated the first time)
    • uncomment (remove #) in front of all plugins you want to use in plugins.ics (autocreated in ItemCraft/ICScript)
    • Make sure you have the recommended version of craftbukkit in the title - since this is a mod of that version in particular.
    • Delete/rename the META-INF folder inside craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar (Use some decent zip program (e.g. 7zip) that can do it.)
    • All players on the server needs to have the client mods installed
    • If you use the 16 bit entity id packet mod (in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it)), All players need (flan's unofficial) ModLoaderMP client mod
    • All players also need the 16 bit entity id packet mod (overwrites a ModLoaderMP's class so make sure ModLoaderMP is installed first) in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it) If decide not to use the packet mod, you can turn it off putting this in your startup file: false setEntityIDPacketMod
    • Sometimes you get block/item ID conflicts, between plugins. You then need to set the conflicting ids in the startup script using setID command: example. They have to be set before the plugin that uses them is loaded. Note also that there is typically a props file on the clientside you have to edit the ids on to be the same as well.

      Suggestions of mods to port
      Vote here not in this thread anymore (it gets lost in all the other stuff)

      Reporting errors:
      • Read known issues - don't report those.
      • State the version of CB, ItemCraft and ICPlugin(s) you have problems with
      • If your client crashes, start the client from command line so that you get the error report.
      • Make sure the mod(s) works in SSP First before you report any errors here.
      • You are more likely to get a response if you describe the problem in more detail and do some testing yourself first of under what circumstances it occurs
      • Do not ask for uploads of minecraft.jar.
      • Do not pm me.
      • If you have problems installing, you are likely doing something wrong. Make sure you've followed the instructions exactly, read the FAQ and Wiki. If that doesn't work you can always ask in the thread, while I will likely not reply, there are others who can help you with your problem. But at least try to get it working yourself first.

    Awesome. Now if only I could get Mo's Creatures for 1.7.3, but I don't think that's ported yet. Once I get Mo's Creatures I'm all set :).

    @icephantom I noticed on your wiki that you have a bunch of mods like Fancy Pack, Trees, Slopes, all available on your test server for download. I'm wondering if those will work with industrial craft, aswell as planes mod, for a 1.7.3 server. If I was to download those client mods 1.7.3, would they work?
  4. Seperately, they may work - together - No. With only 256 Block ID's to go at, trying to load all that lot together will far exceed the 256 limit. Industrialcraft uses around 65 block ID's alone. There is only 1 mod I've seen that increases the available amount of ID's, and its not been ported to work with this plugin. In the Op post (top of this page) is a link to a text file containing some of the more popular block ID usage by mods.

    It is likely to be Autosave that is causing the save, Itemcraft and ModloaderMP do not cause such a console output.
    If all you wish to use is Industrialcraft and Planes, I can offer you this link HERE. This is to install just ModloaderMP with the 2 mods you require - you do not need Itemcraft installed to run these 2 mods if thats all you wish to run,and you may have better luck !

    Alright so I see Industrial Craft is 188-250, and planes seems to only be 255, and I dont think Mo's Creatures uses any block ids, so I think Industrial + Planes + Mo' Creatures should work. Correct?

  10. Replace the file init.ic in your Itemcraft directory (on your server) with the one in the attached zip file - restart your server & try again please.

    Hi, I would add to the game mod Mod Planes
    I have the versions bukkita Itemcraft 860 If install itemcraft 5.1 of the game is error: bad packed 230 Planes will install the mod if the server does not start. Sorry for my bad English.

    Well, the 1.6.6 server mod will work, but not the 1.6.6 client mod, and I don't think the 2 will mix.
  15. I've just had a quick try with this, but again, MC 1.7-3 runs out of ID's when loading all 3 (Industrialcraft, Planes, Mo Creatures). I've uploaded modloaders text file in this post that it creates on a load so that you can see the item numbers running out - not sure if there's a solution to this one ! Although it might be I have to juggle with the ID numbers a little ?

    it runs fine until i join it. only trying to play mo creatures and thats it. 1.7.2 server crashes on player entry
  17. Where did you get the ICMCreatures.jar file from please ? I wasn't aware that the mod had been updated to run the latest Mo' Creatures on MC 1.7-3 ?

    I think ill quit using IC completly. This whole Thread got so messed i dont know what files to download from which Post. At first this Plugin was really fun, but now its just tedious and frustrating most of the Time. Cant even translate Mods cause the new Maps wont work for me. :(

    Industrialcraft and plane mods are work without poerted?

    I read this special instruction(
    It says install mods on only client side, then it works on server.

    I followed that instruction. but it works only at single game.
    I cant create anything with mods on server.

    when I drop materials same as recipes, products are poped up but just dissapear.

  23. Unfortunately, my error - the setpacket230 only works on IC 1.6.2 - if you downloaded the IC 1.5.1 test server, then please re-download to fix the problem. Otherwise, remove this line from the init.ic file in your Itemcraft folder on your server.

    Ok, installed the mod to the server plans. There are no errors. Now, if theclient enters the no fault with the 230 id But the Client crashed
  25. I don't know why that user has posted that comment - if the server-side mods are not loaded, then Industrialcraft and Planes mods will never work SMP. You DO have to install the mods server-side to make it work. Currently, the serverside mods can be downloaded from HERE.

    Alright. Fantastic. I got this working. Thanks guys.
    I do have one question, I'm interested in installing Minerraria onto my server. Earlier posts in this topic state you don't need to port, you just need to put the JAR containing block info on the server in the ICPlugins folder. Is this still true or does it need porting?
  27. Unfortunately this sentance is difficult to understand - however, I assume the server is working now, but you have a problem with the client ? If so, please post what you have installed in the minecraft.jar on the client, and are you using client Minecraft 1.6.6 or 1.7-3. Itemcraft 1.5.1 is for Minecraft 1.6.6.

    I haven't tested this, so I'm unable to comment. Maybe someone else knows ? or perhaps make a backup of your files and give it a try ......

    Its been a bit messy admittedly with all these updates and stuff but I'm trying to sort out things atm. Regarding translation, you need to get the qwertypower mappings, and take his reg.reg and overwrite the old one in the retro folder. Should work. I've just translated Nanondalt's trees and Kaevator's slopes with it.
