    Archers (Reborn) - Made by [1337]
    I - Introduction
    Archers, makes archery way more powerful and fun! It has a big list of special arrows who can be enabled/disabled easily with Permissions.
    Here is a quick list of its possibilities:
    • Powerful Arrows Light things up with Fire and Lighting arrows, Blow things up with TNT arrows, morph monsters, and the mighty Nuke arrow
    • Fun Arrows generate new trees, make mobs fly up and teleport

        archers.bow.(arrow name) - Needed to fire the bow
    IV - Usage
    It is really easy. If you type /arrow a list with available arrows will pop up, if you need more information. Just type /arrow (arrow name), and you can see what ammo it uses, and what you too enable it. Also if you dont have permission for a arrow it shows up red, if you do have permission it shows up green

    I just tried it on build 1132 and it stops any arrow of any type from being shot. You probably need to update the bukkit .jar in the plugin and you might also have to change some of your events. The console is giving a could not pass event error.

    I wanted to see if a different build could somehow make the plugin work. I knew it was an off chance, but it was worth a try. The plugin never worked properly for any of the builds that were released for 1.7.3 and I just tried to provide information on why this might be. I thought that you could take this error and try to find what needs to be changed to make the plugin work. For the past month, every comment on this page have been about the problems people have, and how they haven't been fixed.
  10. Mhn, try this link. I re-created the plugin, and changed the plugin to something I like to use. You better remove everything you have from archers, and let this plugin generate it's own config file. You'll notice it's a easier config file.

    Is it worthwhile trying to fix this still? (Like my post and I'll give it a try...)
    I get the feeling that we'll get some new archer-style plugins with the new potion effects. I just hope theres one with this switching style of a seperate bow per arrow type.. I'm gonna use it with UltraItems to get a custom texture for each bow and let players craft the bows, instead of the click to switch. So we'll see, if nothing better comes along once Bukkit is updated for 1.9, I'll try to update this (Or if there is enough demand I'll give it a shot too)

    I have worked a bit on an arrow plugin where people craft bows instead of clicking. I have come up with two solutions to do this. One is to use Spout to track how people move bows around their inventory. Another thing could be to make different arrow types extend the arrow item so that it can be stored in the inventory.

    This plugin should update just because the build is 1337.

    I think whatever is done, it needs to use data values. The only problem with using arrow types is you can't change the fired arrow entity, only normal or a badly on fire one.

    Hi guys :) You may have noticed the OP has been edited. This is because ARCHERS IS BACK! The download link now leads to a bukkit dev project. 1.5 is NEEDED. This is because of the new arrows using some of the 1.5 blocks/items. Note, this is still a work in progress, the level of config in the old archers is not currently present, but will be added shortly. Thank you for your support.
