Hey everyone! We from FantasyWar are looking for a extra coder. We already have a coder but we have a big list of requested plugin. And if he need to do everything alone it will take long. So we are looking for a good server coder. What we pay: Can't go in detail on the bukkit site about this. But we will pay and you can get a in game rank to. About the server: We are a pretty new big server. We are mainly focused on rpg and pvp. But in 1<> 2 months we will switch to a unique server system where each world have it's own set of plugins so then we will run a hardcore pvp "server" and a creative/survival "server" to. This system is very unique and each world will run on it own machine and will have it own set plugins but the player wont be disconnected and the worlds are just 1 server. We average have around 100 players online but since 1.2 we have a lot less Because we didn't update yet. For more information about the server: http://www.fantasywar.net http://www.wiki.fantasywar.net About the plugins: We will need a couple of custom plugins some examples are here: Chat plugin (complete) Empire plugin (Complete but need remake) Anti glitch plugin (Complete) Punishment plugin (Complete) Plugins that aren't finished/made are: A plugin with a lot special ability's (FWability) A plugin with global banks for items, money, xp (FWbank) Donation plugin to give away packages (FWdonate) Questing plugin (FWquest) And there are some other things we need but this is just a quik list so you have a indication of the size of it. Requirements: We don't accept everyone to be code for us. Check if you have this before you apply. - You need to have at least a half year experience with java/bukkit. - You need to be 16 year or older. - You need to promish you won't make anything to try demolish the server. - You need to have a project on bukkit/github/maven or somewhere on the internet. - You need to have time to code at least 10 hours a week. - All plugins you make will be private for fantasywar and you won't be publishing them after we bought them. - After they are finish you will provide us with the source to. - When there are bugs you need to be able to fix them and when a update is required a update. If we wan't many new features we will pay extra for it but bugfixes not. This looks like a really big list but i think it's pretty logic. Hey I would like to apply to be your new server coder. I follow all the requirements above - I have learnt loads java/bukkit skills which i can use for the server. I am 17 I won't make anything to demolish server. I did have project in the past however it got erased by accident by someone however if I did any projects for you, it won't get erased, I promise. I can code on plugins loads every week. Whatever plugin I make will not get showed by anyone else apart from you guys. When I finish my plugins I will sure let you get access to them. If there ever a bug in one of your plugins or my plugins I will do my best to try fix it and if plugin needs updating I will again do my best to update it. I hope you will accept me to be your new server coder. More notes/history about me coding (Note you dont have to read below but you can if want, it just history of servers and coding in past. A while back I decided to learn skills about server coding for ages and I also played a cool server which I enjoyed and I decided to apply to be a moderator for the server and I said I am good at coding. They accepted me to be a moderator and I protected server and sorted things out. One time I decided to do one of the suggestions they had and did it and gave it to them. The owner of server liked the plug in and decided to promote me to sub admin where I then became a developer for the server and I made loads plugins but also there was a lead developer and he decided to quit the server and minecraft, he thought it was wasting his time so the owner offered me lead developer for the server and I became lead developer and did most of their plugins but 5 months later after I made the server one of the best servers on minecraft, the owner computer got hacked and the hacker destroyed everything on the owner computer including server date and plugins plus he put virus on it so he could not do anything on his computer so the server went down and the owner tried to sort his computer out but he couldnt and had to get rid of it even bad part he had no backups and had no money to buy a new computer however he tried and tried to find money to buy one but he decided it over, everything failed for me, I quit everything I done and never got a new computer or anything and now I don't even hear for him so I been looking around seeing if anyone want a new server coder and finally found this so please accept me.
