In the blue corner, we have LogBlock.
In the red corner, we have HawkEye.

If they were to have a boxing match, which would you bet on? In other words... Which should I use? In your opinion.

    Thanks.

Use LogBlock. It's so much easier and effective to use. I have used both, and LogBlock has given me a better outcome. It has SO many options to do SO many things. I'm just impressed. Plus, it is growing in popularity, and would look good on a server.

HawkEye is not bad, but it's not good. It's difficult to understand at times, and doesn't always get the job done. It does do most things that LogBlock does, but has more lag and less features. It's hard to understand at first, too.

    So, LogBlock wins!!

I prefer Hawkeye. It has easier commands and a web database.

Hawkeye for sure. The rollbacks are very fast, no lag and it even has a web interface!

I personally use logblock, mostly because it has served our server well and I vastly prefer its command system to hawkeye.

But be sure to look at both and decide for yourself.

Never have I ever seen one [SEVERE] on Logblock.
Never have I even not seen a [SEVERE] on HawkEye.
Does this mean anything? Not at all.

    "Praise the arrival of Guardian!"

LogBlock 1.41 is working well with CB b1509, provided you run it without Spout and forgo chest access logging until a Spout update is available.

HawkEye has been a staple plugin on our server for quite some time now.

I was using LogBlock for a few weeks until I had issues with it, I've recently switched to HawkEye and no problems yet! So in my personal opinion, now that I've tried both I'd have to say I prefer HawkEye... it just seems much simplistic to me, but still gets the job done.

I just can't wait until 'Guardian' is released.
