   I cannot place signs on chests with writing anymore. Every time I place the sign, whether I type or not, it turns into a lockette sign. Is there a way to fix this?

   This seems like a problem with lockette. Try removing the plugin and see if that fixes the problem. If it does, you know there is a problem with lockette, and you should report this to the plugin's creator.
