Normally, I'd agree -- But this is a different situation. People expect that they're going to get royal treatment if they pretend to be someone 'famous'.
So to answer your question, yes, it is very hard to take him seriously.

 

That's like saying the president is exempt from paying taxes. Just because the syntax of the statement is a little different, does it really make a difference, he posted this in the plugin request section, what does it amtter who he is, isnt it our job, as plugin devs, to help a guy out? Even if he is/isn't who he says he is, let me put this in code terms.

I'm not sure about the analogy. It's not like saying that the president is exempt from paying taxes. That's what people expect by pretending to be famous. They think that they'll get special treatment from everyone.

Normally, it doesn't matter who you are. You could be a _______ from _______, and no one cares. We'll help 'em out if they're not rude and have a half-decent request.

But most of people (I'd think) draw the line when the person starts lying (this includes impersonation).

how do you know for a fact that he is lying, and if you do know this, why dont you just tag md_5 or TnT or mBaxter and just get this thread done and over with?

 

they get angry when u do that so we use the report button as they requested

We do complete many requests, we just ask for people to type correctly, to tell us what they need, and to respect us. And we also don't want any impersonators on the forums. Is that too much to ask? I don't think so.
