Learn how to write a plugin?

I would like to make a plugin.
I know a good amount of Java, and have Eclipse.
Is there a video series out there that will teach me from start to finish how to make a great plugin?

 

Stare intently at plugins on github until you understand what's going on. Make no attempt to learn java.

 

We have a wiki, and in that wiki there is a page called plugin tutorial.

 

I've got 2 vids on youtube (travja44) And the BCBroz have quite a few!
