/kit plugin help

So I have been working on my server and I ran across a problem. This command used to always work but its not working anymore. Bassically for a crate key plugin I would do /kit (kitname) (playername) and it would give a kit to the player who wins the kit. But now it doesnt work. Even when I do that command in game it gives me the kit instead of the players name that I entered. Please help

3. What is the exact name of your Essentials files?

1) I am on 1.8.8
2) I tried but it ended up being a big ass blob of text and it didnt post the comment
3) It is just Essentials (using plugin essentialsx)

You need to format that blob, push 'insert' above when writing and insert code. Then paste it.
