Keyed Crates Plugin Request!

Suggested name: You Decide XD

What I want: A crates plugin that slows the placing of a permanent crate/chest and naming it to whatever you want, and only opening with the use of a certain tripwire hook. The ability to gain keys through voting, ranks, or purchase from buycraft. I have looked and tested every other plugin like this and none work how I want. Also if you punch (leftclick)the chest it will show the items/ranks/money you can get along with detail nd a percentage of getting that item. A few servers use one exactly like the one I am looking for.

And what's wrong with the other 100(pi^4 * 2)?

 

they do not work the way I want. They either give the player and actual crate in their inv or they do not allow custom names/keys

No I have tried this one, it gives a crate in your inventory. I have said this is not what I want.

I want a permanent chest on the ground that uses tripwire hooks as keys.
Fadecloud is the type of crates system I want

 

You could do this... If you actually read what the plugin does then it might help... It says you can make keycrates in the config and make it so the "permanent" chest stays on the ground with the command ./cr set (crate name)

I do not understand why this isn't your plugin its perfectly fine and meets your limitations

I have read and watched the entire tutorial video and this is not the plugin I want. Go to fadecloud.com go to like prisons and /warp crates. THOSE are the crates I want. this plugin does not offer the same things I am looking for.

 

Please give me a list of the things that this fadecloud plugin has and not the one I have requested?

 

look for yourself. I gave the IP. this one doesn't offer the same look. commands. functionability. use.

 

Its exactly the same... There is no doubt that this is not what you are looking for, from my point of view this is literally the same exact plugin... Tell me whats different? It would be really helpful because all I'm seeing different is that they configured it really accurately.

 

For one it does not give detailed instruction on how to create said crates, using percentages, custom named items

 

Theres already a percentage, its called chance: and for the custom named items
cmd: (/give %player% cake 1 name: namehere_put_underscores_for_spaces) if you are giving the player an item

What do you mean its unclear? Or the instructions were not detailed? Its really straight forward...

 

it doesn't work. I have tried following the instruction and IT DOESNT WORK! 1.7.10. it says it supports 1.7.9 but the commands aren't working. It is easy enough to work and use HOWEVER the commands aren't doing anything.......

 

How does it not work? Is there a error, if so post a pastebin here please.

I have installed vault like it said, and did everything else correctly and it doesn't work. The creator should have updated the installation instructions if it needed a dependency plugin.

Yes I said in my previous comment that I have vault installed and I still get this error. I have followed every instruction to the T, and nothing.

 

I do not see why you need my full server log? This is the ONLY error message, EVERYTHING else works perfectly fine.
Also using gyazo is what I will use. All you need is the warn message.

 

Could you answer my question first? why is it needed? so you can see there is NO other error message?

 

@Angel_Fyre A log helps us identify what can cause the issues, what's enabling or not enabling, if the server starts fine etc.

Please provide the full server log in pastebin as @timtower has said so we can help you fix the issue.

1. There mustn't be errors in the log, maybe vault just disables with a standard message and no exception.
2. Make sure to read the log he posted from down to top, had to figure it out for 5 mins
3. Maybe any more stable versions of vault or cratereloaded available? I don't see any problems here

 

You are joking right? I sent EXACLTY what the console says. There are NO errors aside from the CRATERELOADED plugin........ Therefore I did NOTHING wrong. I have everything correct.....


Why don't you try to install the plug in and I would love to see you have the same issue XD

 

i installed it and no errors at all, have you tried installing just vault and cratereloaded and no other plugins?

 

that's what the console I posted is -_- NO other plugins but those two....
Soooo no one can explain why this plugin is failing to work?

What people are doing is insinuating im an idiot and don't know what I am doing. I have very clearly said I get no console errors aside form the cratereloadd plugin. there was no need to comment with the error message I clearly stated in every one of my comments

I have posted my entire console log like everyone asked, and yet still see no one attempting to help me with my problem.

And since there are NO errors on my end this means the problem lies within the plugin ITSELF. which is why I asked for a plugin to be created that actually works. This isn't a thread to help me fix my problem, this is a thread to develop a plugin for me
