OK, so apperently charter (my isp) does NOT allow you to host a server.
Does bukkit count as a server ?
I guess if u host a server they put u on a perminate black list of all ISPs !
Can somone please explain this concept to me better...

Technically, yes, its counted as a server.

My ISP also "bans" servers, but I run mine without issue.

50 players, yeah, it may turn into an issue. If you're in Canada, I wouldn't stress about it. I can't comment for other countries though.

If you're going to pay for a server, why not just pay for hosting instead?

    Plague

I though USA is the land of Liberty and Freedom ;)
Don't you mean that your ISP has in a contract that you cannot host servers? I mean on what right can the permaban you on all ISPs? Does not make sense.

well, because the server i was going to buy i was going to build and it would have been cheap. but VPS is 60 dollars a month.
    but 1 last thing.......
Do you think i can make money from hosting a server ? even very very little amount of money... do you think i'd get money ? because if i get money i could buy the charter business plan and host a server... but if there is 0% chance of me getting 0 dollars i wouldn't do that......

    I KNOW RIGHT !!!!!
Well, they said that in there TOS so... i really dont know LOL... but its in the TOS...
And at least they could ban me from there ISP, and charter is the only ISP around where i live...
