Is it possible to assign negative damage?

    Back on my singleplayer days, I remenber invedit leting me assign -9999 damage to stuff. Yesterday I tryied to do a /i diamondsword:-100 but that didnt work.

    I wanted to know if its a plugin restriction, or if the negative damage was a fix of craftbukkit/minecraft at all. If it isnt, do anyone know any plugin that let me spawn negative damaged objects?

    This is for some server quests, wherer i could grant winners with "magical" itens, that would never break.

    Sometimes in bukkit i need those too
    i just open killie01.dat and edit my inventory
    yakes time but then it works perfectly
