I'm learning Java and watching tutorials on how to make a plugin for craftbukkit 1.2.5. With 1.3.1 out, is making the plugins different now or can I still use the same code and watch the same videos to learn how to develop a plugin?

If you understand the fundamentals of java and object oriented programming, and can learn the bukkit API, it's not difficult.

Things will probably change a bit more when the Mod API comes out, but who knows? The CraftBukkit team might have decided to make it exactly the same... (doubtful)

It's pretty much the same. There may be a few minor changes, (I personally haven't checked yet) but it should be relatively easy to pick up.
