IRC especially for questions regarding Plugin Developement?

I just got a quick proposal:

I think it would be very nice and helpful to set up a seperate IRC channel directly for questions regarding plugin developement with bukkit.
It would help tremendously since documentation right now is a mess and sometimes there are quick questions that could be answered in seconds on such a channel.
I know you can get help on the official bukkit channel (And I always did get it, when I needed), but an extra channel might make things more easy.

What do you think?
