Internal Error Occurred......

Hi all

I am having some problems in returning false if a command is entered the wrong way. Basically my command is /item no.of item

If however the user enters /item item no.of then the internal bukkit error occurs. I have tried a try/catch where the code should check that arrgs[0] is an int and then continue, however this does not seem to be working, my code is as follows:
