Hello I have a VPS for my craftbukkit #1185 server, and I manage my server using Putty SSH client. How do I install plugins to my server using Putty? I keep trying to use wget, but some of the links say that I'm unable to verify the certificate. Then when I try to upload the files myself to mediafire or something, it downloads an index file instead of the .jar file I want. Help please. Thanks.
You might want to try using WinSCP to transfer files, especially if you're not a Linux guru. Many hosts allow FTP and/or SCP connections. I use WinSCP scripting for remote offsite backups and general server upkeep.
I have a Mac. Is there something similar I can download? And if possible I was looking for a way to do it via SSH, not FTP.
