How was it stopping Essentials from running? I run Essentials Core, Home & Spawn, and have no problem.

Did you strip down the server plugins and activate them one at a time?
  8. Offline

strip down? Besides the two plugins included in this pack. Yeah, Every other plugin i've been doing i've loaded & activated one at a time

I am doing some tests now and after 406 there seems to be java errors for 90% of the plugins I use. Your best bet is to wait for the author to update.

    okay thanks
  11. Offline

Yeah sadly I wont be able to use this plugin either. As it sits right now it is making TimeShift and SpawnMob break :(

Does this plug-in work with the latest CraftBukkit builds that support Beta 1.3?

Also, can you add timestamps to the messages that appear in-game?
    <chat enabled="true" prefix="[%HH%:%mm%:%ss%] " prefix_color="aqua" color="white" />

also confirm this one does not work on cb 430 shame, i love this plugin !

Croemmich: Please update this awesome plugin as soon as you can :-D Me and my servers users miss the witty reparté...

But seriously, this plugin rocks and brought a lot of smiles to my users. I know updating takes a while, but we are sure you'll be able to pull it off. Thanks again :-D

I hearby state that i wrote the writty comments for the xml (spent 15 hours on it) i dontated the xml to the comunity (should be on the first couple of pages)
if croemmich doesnt update im happy for it to be used in any way (providing im credited for the xml!) in any plugin
  17. Offline

Don't worry greaper, you will always be credited with the wit. I just really like this plugin, and I hope it gets updated :D

Since croemmich hasn't been online in a couple of weeks and since I use this plugin, I decided to see about updating it (along with OnlineUsers) myself for the latest CraftBukkit builds.
Well, I managed it, and since his stated license seems to allow for it, I figured I might as well share:

This is definitely unofficial, and just quickly updated by me, but from my brief testing it works fine on CraftBukkit build 432.

Err, yeah, updated. Thanks for pointing it out.
That's what I get for copypasting from my post over there; XenForo apparently didn't update the link when I edited the text of it. [IMG]

Odd... mine is working just fine. Granted right now all I have it doing is sending messages to twitter when it starts up and shuts down.

On which note, would it be possible to have different options go to different sources? I'd like to have the startup/shutdown tweets, but I'd also like for deaths to go out over chat.

it isn't working with 440 with me :/

Added more to the xml, sadly i had some bad news about a fellow guard that removed all humour thoughts from my head so i had to stop way before i planed to. The guard in question collapsed the other week was getting better but is now back to critical, he is a tough old bugger so im sure he will pull through and a nicer man i have yet to meet. i took the liberty of adding a line in the random section wishing him well so all servers using this will wish him well and also a line for respect for a guard that passed away at the begining of the year (he was computer illieterate but i think he would like the fact his name will live on. Both these lines can be deleted if you want but i ask that you leave them in please.

added a few new death phrases (not many as there hard to think up)
added a lot more random ones
    added more login logout messages

as i say i had planned to do more as a kinda thankyou to Brettflan for updating it to work on cb 432 but the news above hit hard.

as before remove the .txt from the end
if you edit it run it through http://www.w3schools.com/Dom/dom_validate.asp to makesure theres no formatting errors
I give this to the community for the use in any plugin providing im credited for the phrases and time to create, there are a few one liners from comedians but 90% is from my own brain hence the grammer !

What error are you getting? I've tested it in up to CraftBukkit 446 without a problem.

EDIT: now tested in 456, still seems to be working fine.

Looks like the first part got cut off when you pasted it. Can you post the missing part?

At a guess, though, you've probably got something wrong in your server_events.xml. You might post it as well, and/or try deleting it and letting the plugin recreate it.
  28. Offline

    Alright i'll try that.

And I'd post the missing part, unfortunately i'm unable to, I'm connecting to my server Via putty; and it seems to constantly keep things 'tidy'.

Edit: Letting serverevents re-create the xml file worked, thanks for the help =]

Seeing the cruft caused by colored names in the console messages (i.e. "§cBrettflan§f died") was getting annoying, so I decided to fix that by having it just strip out the color tags (thus "Brettflan died" instead). I also applied the fix to the Twitter, logfile, and database outputs as well. I haven't tested any of those outputs, just the console output, but they should work the same.
    So, here you go:

Again, this is of course an unofficial build while croemmich is MIA.

EDIT: and to clarify, color is not stripped out of the messages broadcast to players, just the other outputs.

cool cheers, did you include the newer xml? (post 145)

Oh, no, I haven't made any further changes. I'll check that out and include it in the next version if/when another one is needed.
