How to use:
Right click on a wolf to get the owner of the wolf.

Permissions:
Give the player you want this permissions for getting owners of wolves.

Known bugs:
If the owner of a wolf is not online then you can't get the owner of the wolf.

I can't, build 740 has no "PLAYER_INTERACT_ENTITY"-event.
This is only possible in 747+.

 

i wrote a plugin for that about a week ago.. haven't released it since i intend for it to be a full wolf management plugin (including limiting the # of wolves any player can have)

Well, all plugins work just fine with build #755 so I upgraded and I dunno how it works because I tried on a wolf owned by an offline player and it told me the player was offline... you can't get player name is if he isn't online ?

 

Building 747 is a failure. Let also supports 740.

(i think this one can't since bukkit's getOwner is returning the Player, not the player name)

you have to be holding an item, but i'll eventually make that configurable
also, the angle calculations aren't perfect, so you sometimes have to try another angle

You can use the latest build (not RB) available, I use it and all plugins work just fine and I can use this too :}

Did you test by rightclicking a wolf ? I got errors there with v1.1, unless you silently updated it...
