  1. SelfClosingDoors

With this plugin you can set a time when you want the wooden doors to close, after they are opened manually.

You set the time in the yaml config file. A sample is included with the download. If it dont exists it will be created with the default settings.

    Configuration & Sample (open)
    Default settings:
    closing-time: 3
'closing-time' is the time in seconds when the door will close after being opened

    • Maybe give certain players the ability to change the time for them
    Changelog (open)
    Version 1.1
    • Reverse doors are now also affected
    Version 1.0
    • Inital release

I like the idea of this. Great with the use of TravelPortals if you would like that door closed, becouse you just can't close it by yourself and the door would just be open untill it is manually closed.

Tested on CB 325 and it works ^^
  4. Updated to v1.1.
This update makes reverse doors close after being opened.

I wasnt thinking about that normal and reverse doors have diffrent data values.
I did at least check if the door had correct values before changing them.

Could this cause a lot of lag say if you had just open 1000 doors for fun heheh with the timer?
  6. I dont know. I havent tested that

maybe do it if a player is within range, instead of doing every door on the server.
  8. a player should be within range if you dont set a too high number

I would love to add this but it would be nice if doors could be registered as self closing. Just like some doors close automatically in the real world and some don't, not everyone want's their door to close behind them.
  10. I have that feature planned, not shure when it will be done though

I usually just put a pressure plate behind the door, then it closes automatically.

    after updating to 416....

2011-02-22 16:52:03 [WARNING] Using the stupidly long constructor com.yurijware.
    bukkit.selfclosingdoors.SelfClosingDoors(PluginLoader, Server, PluginDescription
File, File, File, ClassLoader) is no longer recommended. Go nag the plugin autho
r of SelfClosingDoors to remove it! (Nothing is broken, we just like to keep cod
    e clean.)
  13. Yeah that will work. But what if someone dont want a preassure plate?

I am aware of that, but dont worry it should still work

Oddly, it appears to be loading correctly (latest Bukkit install), and creates the YML file if it's missing, but never closes a door (wood). Is this known to be working with the 1.3_01 Minecraft? I'd love to include this as I build out a server, but am wondering what I could try. Not seeing any errors in the logs - just endlessly open doors...?

Ok if I do take over, should it be autoclose, autopen or both?
  29. Offline

You mean for a title? AutoClose makes sense.

No not as a title. As a function, should they auto-close only, auto-open only, or both?
