AppleTree - The only standalone apple tree plugin.

    Version: v0.4

AppleTree is a very simple plugin that was designed with the sole idea of turning trees into apple trees. There is a configuration file that will be created in the same folder as craftbukkit called appletree.properties, which you can use to customize different aspects of the plugin.

    Properties Guide:
    • CanDropDecay - (true/false) Whether or not apples drop on decaying leaves.
    • GAChance - (number between 0 and 1) The chance of a golden apple drop. 5% = 0.05
    • CanDropGold - (true/false) If golden apples can drop.
    • AChance - (number between 0 and 1) The chance of an apple drop. 5% = 0.05
*NOTE: The properties file is located in the root server directory!*

    • Apples spawn from destroyed leaves.
    • Chance to spawn golden apples as well.
    • Properties file for different settings.

    Version 0.4
    • Allowed compatibility with newer bukkit versions.
    • Fixed the "Stupidly long constructor" error
    Version 0.3.1

    • Fixed the bug where golden apples don't spawn.
    Version 0.3

    • Added a appletree.properties file for customizations.
    • Added source.
    Version 0.2

    • Allowed drops from decaying leaves.
    Version 0.1

    • Original release.

Hey, I was wondering if it would be possible to customize what drops from trees in the future?
  3. Offline

There are other plugins that do this kind of thing.

I think a nice feature (although maybe outside the scope of this plugin) would be allowing apples to stack. I'm perfectly fine with their current drop rate, however they take up a lot of extra inventory spaces. Allowing them to stack would solve this issue.

    Name one.

The only thing I'd really like to see changed is AppleTree's configuration file moved from the folder where CraftBukkit and the server configuration files are to a folder in the Plugins folder specifically for AppleTree.

  7. But yeah, original plugin author should add that also :}

This plugin is great. I have been using it since the 1.2Beta server, and am still using it. Has always worked flawlessly! Keep up the great work!

Someone know how I can set 0.01% ?
I think "GAChance=0.001" doesnt work. (Too many apples dropped from 1 tree.)
  24. This is my config:
It has a chance to drop 1-2 apples and/or cocoa per tree and verry rarely you get a gold apple.
I belive the values are from 0.0 to 1.0, so they're not percent.

If you're unable to maintain AppleTree right now, I can take over the project.

So I can't locate the properites file either in the plugins folder or in the folder craftbukkit.jar is in. Ideas? The plugin does work....
  28. Offline

It is in the main root folder, not in plugins

I couldn't find it at the time there... perhaps it was the lack of refresh on my FTP client. Found it now. Thanks :)

Separate note, there couldn't have a possibility to where apples drop only by decay?
