I had an idea for something almost exactly like this a long time ago, but I'm glad someone did it for me already.

So if no permissions are enabled will it result to only ops doing command?

You should add a command for how wide it can be and what material set? That would be cool.

@kahlilnc I will add such a command. And also, this plugin does use Permissions so yes, if you don't put the permissions, it will only go for those who do have the '*' permission or the ops.

And I also need to make a simple Wiki because the roads structure format may be occult for lot of people.

With this plugin, you really can build every road you want, you just need to edit/create the road yml structure.

This is awesome, i have a RPG server and all cities are 4-5 mins away from eachother.
It took me 40mins to make the road without this plugin. Now it will take 5-10mins. Thank you so much.

The plugin works! You have to configure Permissions plugin ! If you don't it won't work !

If you have an error to post, please, post one that have enough information like all the errors on the console, the bukkit version, the plugins installed and how many fingers you have.

And don't post that it doesn't work if you don't have the correct configuration for the plugin.

Works great! Makes some nice looking roads very easily. There are a few glitches but nothing major. I noticed whenever you start making a road it automatically starts it with steps, so you have to move forward, and then turn around to turn those steps into stone. Other than that no problems, well done!

@Ranto1 thanks, try using the 0.2 version, it does correct the few glitches you have spoted.

@Mister and everyone else having the same error: YOU HAVE TO USE PERMISSIONS TO RUN THIS PLUGIN.

if you dont use permissions, will it not work, or can you make this so it would default to OP if Permissions wasn't detected. Because i hate Permissions and I dont really want to have to go through all my plugins (about 25) and get the nodes, cause that painful!

Like it! I only had two problems with it: First, it hates corners. I doubt there's very much you can do about it, but they tend to turn out pretty messy. Second, there should be an optional "bridge" mode that allows you to build out over empty space. (perhaps make up and down only happen on jump or crouch?) Other than that, cool plugin. Love the customization options!

    * For the corners, I don't have a solution so I won't implement any. You still will have to make the corners yourself.
    * The "bridge" option is already built-in but is named "tunnelMode". Turning it on will make the road a step ahead of yourself and it won't try to make stairs. Usefull for bridges / tunnels.

v0.3 is out. Normally it should work without Permissions. Not tested though.

v0.3: It says: You don't have the permissions!. I tested it. So it still wont work without permissions! :( fix plz
  27. Offline

@Jon1155 It should work now without Permissions. Redownload the file. I didn't make a new version for that (too lazy).
  28. Offline

So your saying that in order to use this plugin, you HAVE to have permissions, hmmm, well every other plugin which has perm. support will default to OP. so why wont yours? I love what this plugin does and i dont really want to go through all my plugins installed and get nodes! (painful) if you get what im saying
  29. Offline

Not working for me .. I have permissions installed, I have the node added .. ( permissions 2.7.4, CB 860 ) .. when I type /road it tells me I don't have the permissions.

    Testing now!

Still comes up with the same message! :(
