Use Sign transportation!

How to use:
1. Place a sign
2. On the first line, type in [iTown [tp]]. It's case insensitive.
3. On the second line, type in your coordinates. For example, '20,40,-2'. Do not add spaces

Don't know the coordinates? Type /coord
Want to go to spawn? Type spawn, instead of coordinates.
Want to go to player? Type their name with curly brackets as a prefix and suffix.
eg. {Snakeruler}
But, they must be on the server. Else it'll just display [INVALID] and won't work.

Please note, if you use a username to set the coordinates, it will use the coordinates when (s)he is. If the player moves after it's set, the coordinates will NOT set themselves at the players new location.
4. Type whatever you want onto the 3rd and 4th lines. Maybe a user friendly message of where it goes?

Note: While travelling by the signs, you will remain facing the same direction.

This does not require MySQL

To customize the plugin, open the iTown folder which will be created in your plugins directory, and open 'MainConfig.properties'.
When you've finished, save them. They'll take effect immediately! No need to restart the server!

Shops are currently disabled. The /shop command does still work, but you cannot buy anything. This is happening because I'm making customizable sign shops. When these are done, <font color="rgb(255, 204, 0)">Shopkeeper's</font> will be added!

* Sign shops
* More jobs, such as security or army?
* Optional cost of sign transportation
* Possibly: A lib so your mods can charge players money! (Please leave a comment if you'd like this)

You need to tie this into iConomy or else there isent much use for it... what can i do with the money i get from this? send it between each other?

Yes it's true. I've iConomy on my server, working with MySQL. Unfortunately your plugin not work with iConomy and it's a pity... This plugin like really useful. If you can link it with iConomy and MySQL will be cool.

I dont have much expereince with Plugindevelopment. But i mean that your plugin has an option in the config to switch between currencies. So you can use iConomy Currency for the Plugin. Many Plugin have such an option.

Good idea for plugin , but it think you'll need to add some features like
-Server's owners can create they own jobs , or you need just create a lot of job's sorts

 

iconomy doesn't need a mysql database because there's an option I think its called H2SQL and all you have to do is move the .jar into your plugins folder and it downloads the needed files for you when you run the server. It configures just like a flatfile so I'd give that a try if you haven't already. Good luck

 

This has potential, just need's iConomy support, or it's own region editing

Hmm... It's about time someone makes a plugin that doesn't support iConomy, because i can't get it working either. I prefer flatfile/sqlite over mysql hands down. +100 for you my friend! and i love the idea of /shop. it beats me trying to use tradecraft, and set up a shop for each individual item.. :/
