[INACTIVE] CrowdControl 0.21 - Simple Creature Control [798]

    @WinSock has taken over CrowdControl!

Please see the new thread, here.

He has written it as a new plugin from the ground up, integrating features from the old CC as well as his own MobControl (cool things like modifying creature behaviors!)

I'm excited about it, and glad to be focused solely on Magic now :)

Thanks! It was fun, as always.

I don't have this error anymore, but when I start the server I see this:

Download links fixed- CC should work with CB 602.

Persistence needs an update for 602, though, so download latest of that when you update- thanks!

I updated the plugin and no longer get the error. However, I get a world unknown message when I try to type a command.
Server: /crowd list rules Creeper sK
    CONSOLE: World sK is unknown

If I leave off the server name I get:
    World unknown is unknown

    Any ideas?

I keep getting World unknown is unknown this is with a clean install today of both persistence and this plugin.

    I have a feature request:

Control the despawn time of monsters.

Currently, it only takes 10 minutes for a monster to despawn, which makes low spawn rate real-time roleplaying impossible. It can also be problematic for simply 'slower' cycle servers.

For example, if you wanted to run a server operating on real life time cycles, and make the spawn per night equivalent to one minecraft night, you couldn't. They would always despawn and you would be lucky to see two monsters the whole night.

TBH it kind of defeats the point of controlling spawn monsters if you can't also control despawn rates.

For some reason, it keeps saying my worlds name is unknow, but it is the world name. Also, when i try to use it in server, and internal error comes up. Aslo, even thoough i used the [permissions on the wiki, other people can use any of the commands

    Update for 617 please!

I'm getting this error with any command I try:

    I'm using MultiVerse.
Is it because Persistence isn't updated?

Can it be that this mod is incompatible with FalseBook? I have both installed and commands are not working for me and my server sometimes puts out a lot of error messages.
  11. Offline

I don't think the 'replace' command works any longer on the latest bukkit (617). When I enable it (eg replace skeleton with creeper) I start getting a ton of 'entity already tracked' errors in the server log, eventually it disconnects the players.

Will someone please update this to work with 670 and control wolf spawns and max per player!!!
  13. Offline

Will someone please tell forum noobs not to demand updates from plugin devs!!!!
  14. Offline

Far from a demand more in line with begging. Notice the word "please" this is a great plugin and one I wish I could still be using. On top of that if no one is posting anything on this plugin how is the dev going to know a updated is wanted?
  15. Offline

Understandable, I was just raging at the one sentence post ending in !!! it just seemed uncalled for. I'm sure a lot of people are waiting for an update, myself included. With the wolf update I'm sure he has quite a bit of work to do. Since he hasn't posted in acouple weeks, I assume he's just VERY busy.
  16. Offline

I wish either this or mob control were updated, having different mob ratios on different worlds is pretty fun.
  17. Offline

Yeah, this addon is pretty cool, hoping he gets around to updating it aswell. :)

My Plugin don't want to run :(
    I: /crowd control ghast
    Console: Nothing! No error! Nothing!

    Can you help me?
  19. Offline

Nathan are you going to continue developing this plugin? I've seen you post in other topics, but not replying to your own. Just looking for a status update.
  20. Offline

I want to set the monsters in my Netherworld to "false" (ghast = "false").
But it doesn't run. No error. Nothing.
    Is there another way?

After installing crowd control and its dependencies I get a lot of these errors when some players try to log in. I'm using TradeCraft and MapMarkers.

Read the last few posts on this thread please...
  23. Offline

Yeah I read the thread. Just trying to help the developer with debug info in case he needs it. It worked a little bit for me last night, and It's been my experience (admittedly limited) that bukkit plugins don't work at all when it's a version-related problem. Anyway, just adding my report to hopefully help things along.
  24. Offline

It appears to be a bug in bukkit, when you spawn a creature immediately after cancelling a different creature spawn event. There are ways to work around it, i've done in a little un-released plugin that replaces all mobs with creepers, but it looks like the authors of these larger plugins haven't gotten to it yet.

when will this be fixed i need it baddddly
  26. Offline

Chickens still seem to spawn when I try to disable them, and could there be a way to disable wolves? also my pigzombies seem to not spawn anymore :S.
Everything else works like a charm.
  27. Offline

    Is this plugin dead?
  28. Offline

It's looks like it might be dead. I'm still using it and I think it still works, but not 100% certain. It's a great plugin and I haven't found anything that works in quite the same way. It's perfect for my server.
  29. Offline

Which bukkit build you use? i hope @NathanWolf will fix this plugin soon ;)
  30. Offline

I'm using CB 740 and Crowd Control 0.21.
  31. Offline

Doesn't work on 740 (not completely anyway), it won't spawn any mobs because the function call changed:
