VanishNoPickup - Make yourself invisible AND disable item pickups:
    Version: v1.9.12

    Description:
This plugin turns you invisible. It also allows you to disable item pickups. These two things go hand in hand when stalking a potential cheater.

I'd written a separate plugin to do NoPickup, but decided it was always wanted when you Vanish, thus we have this plugin.

Currently the plugin is setup to always disable item pickups when you go invisible.

As of 1.7 you can add a Permission node to disable mobs from noticing you while invisible.

Many thanks to Nodren, as I've basically taken his plugin and added functionality to it.

    @Sleaker
We did not steal any ideas from you, rather from Spyer, which crashed Essentials on many new version because they manipulated our code. Also there is a ticket in our ticket system dating back to 24th april here.

I was not even aware of your fork, when I wrote my code.

Noticed recently that my mods could not check the list of vanished players even though they had the 'vanish.list' permissions.

Turns out the permission node here is listed wrong and that it should be 'vanish.vanish.list'

When will this plugin be updated for CB1000 or will it? I'm using it on CB1000 atm and when I teleport to other players there's a short window when they can 'see' me. Also, if a player comes out of a Nether Portal - they can see me....

    Thanks,
    Eric

People can still see where i am on Dynmap, could you add support to hide the player on DynMap.

    ...Awesome plugin!

    Kilandor

Dynmap has a command /dynmap hide to hide yourself

    chuiby

Oh ok, well could you make the player send "/dynmap hide" when he vanish ?

I am trying to setup my perms so Mods can see poof'd mods, but can't see poof'd admins. But admins can see the poof'd mods and other poof'd admins. Is that possible?

I'd like to request multiworld support.
By that I mean that vanish will be automatically disabled on some worlds, and can't be turned on.
This feature would be really helpful for my server.
If there are alternatives for this plugin that can do exactly that please inform me =)

    Mint Condition

looks great, works a champ. Only niggle is it seems that I'm vanished by default when ever i join the server. I rarely notice this until i wonder why I'm not picking up drops. I've tried making sure I'm visible when I log out.

Do you know if this is working for 1060?

    Mint Condition

Seems to be. Other than the "always engaged on login" thing I mentioned. At least it's not crapping all over my server log like Spyer was. ;-)

Would it be possible to make some alternate commands like /vanishon /vanishoff. Because I have some items that use it as a form of timed Stealth and the problem is theres no way to force someone to unvanish if it bugs out.

The thing is you dont got /np and /poof and /vanish

mbaxter ʇıʞʞnq ɐ sɐɥ ı Retired Staff

@jasonsj10 It has /vanish. /poof was just an alias of vanish which you could do manually on your server, and /np is currently handled by permissions but can be changed in the next version.

No, when i looked at your post all i saw for the commands was /vanish. Not Poof or Np

@EvilNilla Can we see any updates to this? Specifically for 1.8?

This was one of my favourites, is anyone going to take this plugin and keep it updated?

    EvilNilla

There is now VanishNoPacket which uses Spout and allows for perfect vanishing. Use that.

    tehbeard

    Can we get Superperms support?

  27. Offline

    EvilNilla

I'm abandoning this project. Not worth it when VanishNoPacket is a vastly superior product.

ok first off vanishnopacket fails at everything apart from vanishing, its is supper buggy and i prefer this plugin because it has more functionality.

  29. I moved to Administrate when this one became inactive. I'd take a look at it. Bonus of that one is that it doesn't require spout to do it's thing, just vault (small API library).

mbaxter ʇıʞʞnq ɐ sɐɥ ı Retired Staff

It doesn't require Spout because Administrate just like VanishNoPickup can be exploited. ;)

  31. Ah, was not aware of that. I will have to look into this plugin a bit more. :)
