at least you should update your plugin.yml to your main-class when you make a fork of an existing plugin main: com.bukkit.FlingeR.groupPvP.groupPvP should be: main: Me.Bukkit.Orcem.ManagePvP.ManagePvP but i remember that there was a rule to never use "bukkit" in the paths of plugins, ok the original author did this too. but it could cause errors.
Updating Now sorry I havn't been watching this thread... Yes it's a fork and I forgot to change the dam YML again.... sorry fixing now... Probs won't have download out until a little longer tho :< Fixed, and I changed the Bukkit thing sorry I forgot It will be used in the next build. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Thank you very much for keeping this up to date! The old version still works, but its good to know someone is on it.
Hey, your plugin is awesome, but all groups with permissions '*' op operators can't do anything... They aren't allowed to attack other players, theirs groups are protected... Can you fix it ? Thx a lot!
This looks like a very promising plugin. if you set it up right it could be the best plugin for controlling how pvp works! Great job so far.
The permissions nodes seem to be: ManagePvP.denyattack ManagePvP.protected ManagePvP.blockgroup I think you should update the main post Great plugin, makes grouping up more viable in minecraft. One question though, is there any way I can configure which groups go together, like if I want multiple groups to be counted in blockgroup?
Sorry, moved back into house. All my plugins are going to start to update slowly, again sorry for inconvenience.
You are forgiven. It just caused a little confusion since you displayed the old permission nodes, while you have update them in accordence witht he plugin name. noone got hurt (badly), and being able to walk through enemy territory was a fun experience for once .
I'm a little confused...when you say disallow players from PvPing group members, do you mean admins can't PvP admins, members can't PvP members, etc. Or, do you mean in the plugin you make groups? So people in group 1 can't PvP other people in group 1, and people in group 2 can't PvP other people in group 2, etc. But, people in group 1 and group 2 are all members and admins and moderators. Thanks.
It worked for me when i used the old version http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/in...s-between-groups-and-their-members-740.11133/
Please make link work! You made a awesome plugin! If anyone has the managepvp.jar can they upload it ? Please!
For those of you interested in using this type of functionality, feel free to check out ModDamage - it lets you do this and more, and more pertinently it's relatively up to date.
