okay so please dont call me stupid for this i am areready extremely upset but. I run a minecraft tekkit classic server with towny. Everything was working fince since launch 2 days ago. It was all good until someone told me they could not do /plot claim so i looked up how to fix it afyer trying everything i could thik of. So i found online in multiple places that if you delete register.jar and reinstall it. It ussaly fixes it so i did that. And when the server came back up it was glitched and you could not move or use commands and the console said error in so many places and you were glitching into the air and dying it was bad. So i stopped the server took out the register.jar and i started it and still it was like that. So i tried all this stuff and nothing is working and im like freeking out. Someone please help me!
@T3tr3x Alright, so, removing Register.jar shouldn't have messed things like that up, after some research, it looks like it is just an economy API. Would you mind giving us the error logs?
@T3tr3x Yes, the log, so we can see what is causing the error. @T3tr3x Try removing EssentialsProtect and EssentialsAntibuild. Also, make sure you have the proper version of Essentials installed. The core one, not one of the addons. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Any idea of whats causing the issue. sadly i have to leave soon but i would love to find some stuff out before i leave Any idea of what it could be? i could not download the log it would not let me can ANYONE please tell me what to do ;[
@T3tr3x Please post your full server log using http://pastebin.com, not the copy from the console but the copy from latest.log
Stop your server. Start your server. When it's fully started, stop it again. Go in to your server files. Go to the logs folder. Open the file called latest.log. Copy and paste the contents at http://pastebin.com/. Post it there and then link the URL here.
@T3tr3x Please use a regular FTP client and not a build in admin panel. Your logs file should be at <server directory>/logs/latest.log
@T3tr3x Tim doesn't give out his Skype on Bukkit.org, click on the "logs" folder, then open the file named "latest.log". After that, copy the contents, paste them at http://pastebin.com/ and link the URL here.
