I kind of ruined an area with world edit

My problem is that I made ,by "accident", 12000 blocks from stone to trap doors
and now every time a player goes to that area he has huge lag and the server keeps spawning with Can't keep up messages.
what should i do to invert the changes?(i did //undo but the stone came back but the fallen trapdoors remained)
i really need a solution
it's not like an urgent problem because just the player that stays in that area has lag not the hole server so the other players don't experience any lag just when more players are standing for a long time(5-10 minutes) in that are

 

Get a plugin that can clear dropped items or wait it out. 12000 blocks isn't much

 

There's a plugin that stacks items on the ground automatically, I forgot the name though. It's one of those lag-reducing plugins.

 

Select the 2 points and do //regen ?
Or does that not help ?

I thought MCEdit had a drop cleaning function?

 

Select the area in MCEdit and press remove entities.
