An easy to customise anvil that applies reforge stones to items and is semi easy to customise. Would be really useful for a concept thread im working on. Also for 1.19.3.
@Pikaahhh Please follow the suggested format, it exists for the reason so that developers know what to make. Because you are talking about customization but you don't say what you can customize.
Plugin category: Customisation Minecraft version: 1.19.3 Suggested name: AdvancedReforgeAnvil What I want: A plugin that recreates Hypixel Skyblock's advanced reforge anvil (the one that lets you apply reforge stones). Doesn't need to give function, just needs to change the items lore to "add extra stats" and consume the stone provided. I'll give some example images below, along with a basic explanation. https://imgur.com/Rtfi3KR What the UI would look like with no item placed in. https://imgur.com/fPSYZQ5 Only items with COMMON, UNCOMMON, RARE, EPIC, LEGENDARY, MYTHIC, SPECIAL & VERY SPECIAL at the bottom of the items lore can be placed into the UI on the left side. https://imgur.com/KweVTI7 Only items with REFORGE STONE at the bottom of the items lore can be placed into the UI on the right side. If 2 items are placed into the UI correctly, the red panes connecting to the barrier will become lime green panes. https://imgur.com/mfqIyQL In the config file, there should be a way to modify what stats are applied, as well as a way to add the reforge stones into the game. Something like: ITEM1: MATERIAL: diamond NAME: '&5Reforge Stone' LORE: - '&Test Stone' There would likely be multiple lines, this is an example. STATS: - Farming Fortune = +1 If a number exists next to the = sign, it will apply to that reforge stone, otherwise the lore wont change for that stat. @Pikaahhh And what are reforge stones? Where do those come from? Don't point to other servers please, write everything in full detail.
The concepts of the "reforges" you are suggesting rely on the concepts of the gamemode they originate from (Hypixel Skyblock) to back them up - Those specific things generally don't have any real usage/effect without those other game mechanics existing in some way, so unless you have a plugin replicating all of those concepts from the mentioned gamemode (which I doubt) this is probably not really something that makes much sense. And otherwise, you could probably just use custom enchantments - I'm sure there is some plugins out there that add custom enchantments to the game, if you want specific custom enchantments that you cannot find included in any of said plugin, you should specifically say, which enchantment/reforge/whatever you want to call it does what exactly. Without any sort of real functionality I don't see the point of this feature
