Make a region with the flag pvp: allow within the pvp: deny region?

That's what I did for a PVP Arena and it worked fine.

If you set pvp:allow within the pvp:deny region you have to type this too:

    /region setparent pvparea nopvparea

    nopvparea being the pvp:deny region
    pvparea being the pvp:allow region

do you mean to set the pvparea as the parent of nopvparea? or vice versa?

NoPvPArea should be the parent of the arena.

my english isn't good but i need to help

    on other way
    using worldguard

    1. create a region name "pvpoff" or something and set flag "pvp deny"
    2. create new region name "pvpon" inside "pvpoff region" and set flag "pvp allow"
    3. set priority to 10 or more in "pvpon" region... by "/rg priority pvpon 10"
    4. done
    5. profit

If it still does not work do the following:

Make a region over your spawn (if you don't have one).
Make a region over your pvp arena ( if you don't have one).
Take the name of your region of the pvp arena and type:
    /rg f <pvparena> setpriority 10
    Then /rg f <spawn> setpriority 11
    Then type /rg f <pvparena> pvp allow
On spawn type /rg f <spawn> pvp deny

If I remember the setting priority correctly it will be like that. If it doesn't work then switch
    /rg f <pvparena> setpriority 10
    Then /rg f <spawn> setpriority 11

    to

    /rg f <pvparena> setpriority 11
    Then /rg f <spawn> setpriority 10

    Good luck! :)
