Question How to get better connection to a home server

I'm running a Windows Home 64bit server (just to make it simpler for me). I also dedicate 12GB of ram to my server. I was wondering how I can make the ping of my server better. I'm running a 250/30 connection, so the network shouldn't be much of a problem. Also, the server keeps overloading when I'm rendering multiple places on a big map, is there any way to fix this too?
